Never a weekend without something to do
My weekends consist of being a Mommy. During the week, I am a nurse. I take care of people and love it. Come the weekend, I am mommy. I do and go what and where my kids demand of me. Jacob had a sleep over Saturday night. This was his first "sleep over birthday party". He has spent the night with many friends, but he claims this was his first REAL one. After I dropped him off at the party, I got some LYDIA time. Not nurse, not mommy, but ME time. I went to see a movie with one of my FAVORITE people in the world, Laura. It was so good to be able to watch a grown up movie and not cartoons. Sunday consisted of cleaning and going to the Wake Forest basketball game. It was Anna's first game and see was ready. She talked all morning about "want to see boy's play" and "go boys"! So we left the house dressed in our black and gold and headed to the game. Anna's outfit was completed with pom poms! She shook them all the way there. Once inside, they were handing out more pom poms and so we ended up with out 10! She was totally mesmerized by the sounds and then by the Deacon coming out on his Harley. She was good until about half-time and then she was ready to go. So we went home and enjoyed the beautiful weather. She found some ballons and so Nana blew them up and mom made a joke of it and made Anna have boobs! My mom wasn't too happy, but I got a good laugh out of it. Weekend is over, time to get back to Nurse Mommy.
